"Because our respective families are at either end of the North American continent, we are often asked "are you happy in a small Midwestern town?" or "Don't you want to be closer to family?" Honestly, life in a small town seems to fit well with all of us. Yes, we miss some of the benefits of larger cities and geographically close family, but the Midwest also seems to be very wholesome and nourishing for our little family and family can be close beyond geographical limits."

"Once in a while we think of moving on, but we're in no rush and the right opportunity hasn't come along yet. We enjoy quiet family life here with our two beautiful, loveable children who are growing up well, albeit too fast."
